I was born and raised in the United States and have seen people eat with their hands in their homes. Out of curiosity I tried eating that way a few times and I really enjoyed what I was eating and it seemed more appetizing that way. I also tried eating like a dog with no hands just my mouth and that way too made me eat with a burning desire for the food, and I got a kick out of it. It feels so natural to eat that way. 2001 VW pat "STOP, check engine coolant" light on dash.. help?

i was on the highway when i noticed my engine was getting a little hot.. hotter then it ever has been so i drove 25 miles back home and turned my car off. started it up about an hour later and it seemed like it was normal at 190 degrees but after about 5 minutes of driving it was basically as hot as it woul go on the meter so i stopped for a second and then on my dash it said "STOP check engine coolant". and yes its topped off. the next day i started it up and it took about 3 mintues to overheat. water-pump? therm? so if any1 can comment on what they think is wrong with it i'd appreciate it.

I'm not saying that they might "launch" one at us but, we know that they are actively supporting the Iraqi insurgency with their own resources and personnel (i.e. they're sending terrorists into Iraq), is it so difficult to think that they might arm one of those terrorists with a nuclear device and send them to Iraq, Israel, or even the U.S.?

Victim of ault/domestic violence stuck with bills and needs advice. Thx so much.?

Back in May a a friend of mine was charged with domestic violence/ault after he was seen by several witnesses (including 3 third part witnesses who called the police) throwing me to the ground several times and hitting my head to the pavement. It definitely could have been worse but was still pretty gruesome. I guess I lost consciousness after the second time my head hit the pavement. I had several cuts, some of which I still have scars from, and was brought to the e.r. Anyway long story short I had a concussion, my medical bills added up to over $5,000 not to mention pain and suffering. I had to find a new apartment etc. The defendant plead GULITY already and based on the police report etc there is no question of his guilt. The problem is during this entire process I didn't have an address because I was forced to leave my home due to false (which can be proven as well)statements made by a friend of his which were later retracted. But the damage was already done, I had no way to collect the proper paperwork to turn into the victim's services department. He plead guilty and accepted his plea bargain before I was even able to get all of my bills together so now I as the victim am also stuck with all the costs ociated with the ault. I've looked for personal injury lawyers etc but none of them seem to take this kind of case. Someone please help! I have no idea what to do and it's not fair I should be punished more because he can't control his temper So far, his actions have truly ruined my life. Any advice is very appreciated. Thank you.

Moving boyfriend out?

I let my boyfriend move in again, 1 month ago, he is not working, and I found out he is cheating with the same girl as before, bringing her into my apartment while I am at work. How long will my cat live with Fibrosarcoma?

My cat Had a lump on his back and we brought him to the vet and they took a small sample of it. They said it wasn't cancer but since it grew 3x its size in a month that it should be removed. He got surgery last wednesday , aug. 12th 09. and they took tests to check if they got all of it. They just called back on the 17th to tell us that my cat has cancer and he should see a specialist. the specialist said he had fribrosarcoma and would either need more surgery to get cancer from his bones or a radiation treatment/chemotherapy. How long would he live if we didn't do any further action on his fribrosercoma cancer? He is only 6 yrs old.

Ok, I saw this movie a long time ago. I really liked it but i can't remember actor names or the title. So I am gonna tell you what i remember of the plot and if that rings any bells please tell me. It took place in a summer camp. There was this girl that was a virgin and in some moment she emerges out of the water having a net on her, but you can still see her . In this scene there are two guys watching her.At the beginning of the movie she appears with a see through long skirt (i think it's also pink) and everybody thinks she's a little stupid. What can I do about my pain medication?

I have been seeing a neurologist for a herniated lumbar disc for a while now, and I have right leg radiculopathy from the disc compressing my nerves in my spine. I have been on hydrocodone 10/500 for almost two years now and have developed a really high tolerance to it (which is normal I know) and I am uninsured, so I can't afford the stronger stuff which most people recommend. I get a 15 day supply of the medication and I usually run out between 10-13 days and get it filled early. My Dr. has already made it clear that I am on the maximum he feels comfortable prescribing, and basically has told me to just quit my job, stop doing housework, and stay on the meds until I can find a job with benefits so that I can have surgery. Which interferes with every aspect of my life. I know I cannot stay on the meds forever, nor would I want to because being a nurse, I know what it is doing to my body. But I can't just snap my fingers and have surgery either. Right now my Dr. is on vacation for a week, and the nurse that handles all of my refills is out of the office too. I called to get my meds refilled and another nurse has been really rude to me and told me that there is nothing she can do and I shouldn't have a 15 day supply that it should be a months worth and that I can't get them refilled. This has never been an issue before now. I am going through narcotic withdrawals in addition to severe pain, and dragging my leg around like its dead weight sometimes. I know all the tricks to ease the pain, hot baths, mage, ice & heat, etc. They won't even call me in something for the blood pressure/withdrawal symptoms. I thought about telling her that she can tell my Dr. when he comes back that he has lost another patient. How can they get away with being so hateful when I have to pay an ungodly amount of money for them to tell me to just quit my job and get surgery?

Hi amigo I am also with the commonwealth bank. i been wit them since i came to Australia about 1.6 years ago and i got a credit card after about 5 months. I use the Credit card for everything but i don t go all crazy, i use it as if it was the debit card i pay "IN FULL" online when ever the statement gets put on the online banking.If you pay in full you don t pay interest, you get 55days to be exact. There is only one card that you don't get the 55 days its the "no annual fee card." I got the "low rate" one just in case i but something that i plan to pay off. i think the rate they give you is around 14% which is not that bad. any ways i see this as a good way of building a good credit record so later on in life i can get a good rate if i finance a car or mortgage a house. the better the record the lower the interest rate. oh the limit on my card is $5000 i couldn't believe it lol for my 1st credit card in Australia. Ok Im 19 years old and about a year ago i met this girl that as soon as i seen her i knew right then and there i had to one way or another get her into my life. Depending on how old you are you should start doing community theater in your area and at school. In any big city, specifically the capital there are going to be agencies that are looking for actors to appear in commercials and possibly film and tv. That research can be done by going to google typing in local agencies and finding one in your area. Normally a brief interview or audition will be arranged with the agent and if you are signed on they will be sending your name to commercial companys and they will then let you know of any available auditions they think would be good for you. From there, go to a college with any sort of theater program, get a degree and go to Las Angelos where 90% of american film and television is produced.

Since i've been in 8th grade i have weighed up to about 105 plbs. during my junior year in highschool i lost a couple pounds due to stress, and and i now weigh about 93 plbs. since the start of the current school year,(my senior year) i have not been stressing as much as usual. My highest stress level would go to a 2 on a scale of 1-5. But yet my weight is just about still the same. I do eat alot of food high in carbs and protein, but i cant seem to gain weight. You should have taken Intermediate Algebra during the summer of your sopre or junior year so you could have taken PreCalculus during your senior year. Ask your counselor just to make sure. Or at least have taken Intermediate algebra instead of vocational math. But then again, vocational math isn't offered in my high school (CA) so I'm not sure about that.

Why do foster children move around so much?

I understand that the goal of foster care is supposed to be temporary care until the parents can get it together, and that sometimes it takes years (or never). Why then can't the kids stay in ONE foster home until reunification can happen, or why don't they typically go back to their previous foster carer if it doesn't work out with the parents? And why do they have to move with little or no advance notice? It's truly heartbreaking!

My team and I are being ually abused or molested by our team coach?

My friend and teammate already posted a question similar to this one, about our gymnastics coach. In her post she told everything that he had done that we weren't to sure about. Like our s, pecking us on the lips, telling us we have nice es etc.. Anyway we were worried about saying something because we weren't sure if what he was doing was wrong. Because he would always preach to the team that "gymnasts and coaches have a special relationship". Last summer our coach had a summer camp that the elite team had to attend, anyway during the camp my teammate and I found out that we were going to be co captains of the team. So our coach had called us into his office to "congratulate" us. When we got in their he shut the door and put his arm around our waist and made us kiss him. We pushed him away and told him to stop. He told us that he "does that to all his team members and even though it may seem weird at first we would all get use to it" After the kissing incident, I talked to some of his old students and they said he has always been touchy. So me and the team felt like it was something we would just have to get use to if we didn't want our gymnastics to suffer, but my gymnastics has already started to suffer because of him. Worn tires causing turning difficulty?

My car was recently in the body shop after being side-swiped on the left side. The fender and door were replaced, along with the front left wheel because it was slightly warped. I had known for a while that the front end was out of alignment but hadn't had it re-aligned as it was not very noticeable. So...when they replaced the wheel, they went ahead and aligned the front end as well. The tires on the car are about 3/4 through their life and are fairly worn. Now, the car is properly aligned and is mysteriously harder to turn to the left than the right. I'd never had this problem before. Is it possible that the tires had worn unevenly due to the misalignment and now that it is aligned the uneven wear is causing this turning difficulty? It makes sense in my head but I'm just not sure if that is something that could actually happen. Help please??

i used to sit by this guy in one of my cles, and he talked to me all the time. once his desk was moved and he moved it back by me, and once he didnt like his desk, so instead of just changing seats (the teacher wouldnt have cared) he switched desks, he always "helped" me with quizes and tests,and i would "help" him. then we got new seats, and we were watching a movie cuz like half the cl was gone for some band/chior thing. so my friend came over and sat by me, and came over and sat by her, i was on the end, and he kept talking to me. then the nxt day we watched the movie agian and he pulled up a desk between me and my friend, he was so close his leg was touching mine, and i said "wow ur a lil close" and so he scooted back a little bit, then he left, later on he was crawling on the floor (so the teacher wouldnt see him) and he sat on the floor by me, i think he was trying to get his guy friends attention, but i asked him what he was doing and he told me that im stupid.

What do you do when everything's just going wrong in your life?

I just got a letter today saying i'm on academic probation at sch. I failed one course last semester and didn't do so well on another. They're giving me a chance to get better marks next term or i won't be able to get student loans for a yr. I've changed programs a few times at sch and right now i should be graduating, but i've nothing to show. I've been trying to figure out what to do with my life, which path to take and that's one of the reasons i didn't do so well. I was so lost n confused with myself i had lil' motivation to study. And i'm always very studious. I have no summer job right now, absolutely broke, 21 yrs old (22 on July 1), no friends, no confidence. I feel so alone and like there's nothing for me in this world. I don't think anyone in my family really cares for me and i know my parents probably think i'm a disappointment, and lately i can't help but think that too. Freaking contacts?

i went and got contacts two days ago... they said i had to get a different type for each eye. my left ones for a stigmatism or something and my right ones a regular contact. the left one i cannot get used to. it feels like theres something in my eye constantly, but the left one is perfectly fine, i cant even tell its in there. whys the left one so uncooperative? i cant get a regular contact for that one because it wont be as clear as the one in there now... :(

How can I get therapy for depression and still become a pilot?

My dream, which I am actively pursuing, is to become a commercial pilot. Unfortunately, I'm deeply depressed and have a lot of serious issues from my past. My real father died when I was nine years of age. During a stage of my childhood I was molested by an uncle. Then I lost my stepfather, who I became very close to, in my early teenage years. I fared the storms well, and up until recently I considered myself to be a strong person, an overcomer. But as of the last few years, my life seems to be falling apart, and my pain feels worse every day. I am struggling to deal with these problems on my own, but increasingly I'm feeling like it's a losing game. I need help, but if I am ever diagnosed with depression I will practically be unable to become a pilot, due to industry regulations. Technically it is possible, but it would be a long, uphill battle before I was ever allowed to fly. This is not a road that I am willing to go down. Despite my sadness, I am not suicidal, and I know that I am mentally healthy enough to be a superb pilot. Although I used to have great social skills and be a really popular guy, lately I can't seem to open up to others, let alone make a genuine friend. How can I go about getting therapy and become a healthy person again?

I am currently started the task of recalling all of my mother's stories and collecting them into a book.
