I need to figure out a thesis statement for an essay regarding comparisons of languages of the Americas. Help?

I am supposed to do a comparative ysis of languages and cultures of the Americas or specifically between the U.S. and the other countries. I just am confused about what my thesis and topic sentences should be. What am I really stating or questioning?
