Do women that have VBAC feel the same amount of labor as before a c section?

I've had two l births and almost a third when we found out our son was breech. The doctors decided that I needed an emergency c-section. I'm newly pregnant with #4 and will be completing our family :) I'm just wondering that if I can VBAC will the labor be less painful because of all the nerves being cut from the c-section or if it feels the same. I have heard some Mom's can't feel the baby move sometimes so I'm wondering if labor is similar ;) Thanks.
