Do veneers replace the hole tooth?

No. Veneers are like a fake fingernail for your tooth. It only covers the front and may slightly curl to the back. They are done mainly for cosmetic reasoning and most insurance companies will not cover the cost. Crowns cover the whole tooth. Dentures should only be considered if your teeth are too far gone to do anything about them. Veneers range 600-1200 each. Crowns run about the same and protect the whole tooth.
