Honeymoon Ideas on Budget in Europe or Asia?

Details: We're getting married Dec. 2010 near London, England but want to go somewhere warmer and adventurous. I'm from America and we don't want to come here. We were thinking somewhere different like Cyprus or Croatia. Any ideas? Our budget (not including airfare) is $1000. Thanks!
