How do you remove dirt or "grout" inside the cracks of tile?

i'm in a brand new duplex and as time has past i notice the "busy" parts of the house have dirt or "grout" in between the crevices of the tile....however, the parts of the house that are not used the tile looks new as ever....is this dirt able to be removed with a cleaning product??? please help
