Muslims - What Is Your Personal Attitude Toward Allah? Is He Your Father? Is It Distant Worship From Afar?

Do you feel that He loves you, or that you are here merely to serve? When you pray several times in a day, do you pray about specific needs, or the same one each time? I have been talking with some Egyptian friends about this, but we haven't discussed this specifically. Many thanks for any information/understanding on this issue.
