Freaking contacts?

i went and got contacts two days ago... they said i had to get a different type for each eye. my left ones for a stigmatism or something and my right ones a regular contact. the left one i cannot get used to. it feels like theres something in my eye constantly, but the left one is perfectly fine, i cant even tell its in there. whys the left one so uncooperative? i cant get a regular contact for that one because it wont be as clear as the one in there now... :(
